Swiss Chard ‘Bright Lights’

Description

Upright bunches of  lightly savoyed leaves, some burgundy and some green, with stems and ribs in a full rainbow of colors including gold, orange, red, pink, white, and yellow. Harvest baby greens for salads or use the flavorful, tender full-size leaves for cooking as you would spinach. Plants grow 20 inches tall. 60 days from transplant. Photo courtesy of AAS.

Care: Plant 24″ apart in sun to light shade.

Continuous Harvest variety

Cold-tolerant plants that stand in the field for harvest as needed in late fall and early winter. May overwinter in mild seasons, or die back and sprout from the root in spring for an extra-early crop. See our Fall & Winter Vegetable Guide for specific planting/harvest times & freeze-out temperatures.
