This small broad leaf mustard has a mild pungency and good red leaf and vein color that intensifies in cold weather. Its leaves are similar to green mizuna but with less deeply cut margins. Excellent for sukiyaki, shabu shabu, yosenabe, ohitashi, pickling and salads. Prepare as you would any mustard green. 40-45 days. Image courtesy of True Leaf Seed (via Kitazawa Seed).
Care: Plant 6-12″ apart in rows 18-24″ apart in full sun.
Cold-tolerant plants that stand in the field for harvest as needed in late fall and early winter.
