Kohlrabi ‘Konstance’ (AAS)

Description

Kohlrabi lovers, rejoice! No matter if you grow in spring or fall, Konstance continues to produce flavorful crunchy bulbs that are crack-resistant and long-lasting. A bonus of the crisp, sweet, peppery bulbs is that the leaves are also highly flavorful when roasted or sauteed; or eat them raw when the leaves are young and tender. 32 days. Photo courtesy of AAS.
Care: Plant 3-8″ apart in rows 12-18″ apart in full sun & moist soil. Harvest at 2″ across for most tender bulbs.

Fall Harvest variety

Late-season vegetables adapted to tolerate both the heat of late summer and the cool nights of fall. Harvest in late summer or fall. See our Fall & Winter Vegetable Guide for specific planting/harvest times & freeze-out temperatures.
