Pineapple Guava feijoa sellowiana

Description

Showy white and red flowers on an upright, rounded, evergreen shrub with glossy, oval foliage. Thick petals and small, egg-shaped fruit are edible and are reminiscent of pineapple, guava and mint. Plant in well-drained soil. Great as a hedge, as well as grown for fruit. Plant multiple shrubs to ensure cross-pollination. Partial to full sun. Reaches 15 feet at maturity. Zones 8-10.
