Mustard ‘Amara’ Ethiopian

Description

OP. Also known as Ethiopian kale and Texsel greens, Amara is a widely adapted, vigorous mustard that has a mild flavor well suited for salad mix. Leaves are medium green, tender, and slightly wavy at the edges. 35-40 days. Photo and text courtesy of Osborne Seed.

Care:  Plant 6-12″ apart in rows 18-24″ apart in full sun.

 

Continuous Harvest variety

Cold-tolerant plants that stand in the field for harvest as needed in late fall and early winter. May overwinter in mild seasons, or die back and sprout from the root in spring for an extra-early crop.
