Kale ‘Cottagers’

Description

Cottagers has unusual green/purple leaves and is extremely hardy, providing a tasty supply of leaves throughout the winter. Unlike other kales, a secondary crop of tasty side shoots up the stems in early spring. Originated from a cross between kale and Brussels sprouts, then recrossed with purple sprouting broccoli. Care: Plant 20-30″ apart in rows 24-36″ apart in full sun, cool moist soil.
