Fruits are juicy with classic taste and a sweet bite. This is a medium-early, main season tomato. Moneymaker is an old English heirloom variety from Bristol, England circa the early 1900s. 75 days. Here’s a fun fact: On the ISS, astronauts will grow three sets of Moneymaker tomatoes in the Advanced Plant Habitat (APH), a chamber that has been used to study plant growth in space. One set of the tomatoes will be an immune-compromised mutant, another will be given a hormone that boosts plant defenses, and a third will be a control.

Care: 60 days. Set plants 1½ -2 ½ feet apart if staked or caged in a sunny area after all danger of frost is past.
