Teardrop leaf with scalloped edge, true purple color, and mild garlic flavor. Slowness to bolt makes it ideal for cut-and-come-again harvesting. Good in salads or as a cooked green. While technically a mustard, Moonshadow is known as Ethiopian kale, Highland kale, Abyssinian mustard, and Texsel greens. 40 days. Photo courtesy of Johnny’s Seed.
Care: Plant 6-12″ apart in rows 18-24″ apart in full sun.
