Tender greens with good cold hardiness; as the plants experience colder and colder weather, at least half the plants’ leaves become a beautiful green-and-white during the winter. Pick outer leaves as needed for steaming, braising, or sautéing. 80 days from transplant. Photo courtesy of Southern Exposure Seed Exchange.
Care: Plant 20-30″ apart in rows 24-36″ apart in full sun, cool moist soil.
Continuous Harvest variety
Cold-tolerant plants that stand in the field for harvest as needed in late fall and early winter.
