Clematis ‘Taiga’ (Clematis hybrid)

Description

Taiga makes stems of stunning, double purple, 3-6” flowers adorned with light green petal tips and centers. Flowers from mid-May to early September on both old and new wood so it’s recommended to prune in early spring just before new growth starts. Attracts bees and butterflies to the garden.  This variety thrives in full sun. It prefers fertile, humus-rich and well-drained soil. Perfect in a container on your terrace or balcony. It’s also very suitable in perennial borders, for mass planting and combined with other plants. Hardy to Zone 6. Photo courtesy of Logee’s.
