Tomato ‘Genuwine’ Grafted Mighty ’Mato

Description

Grafting is a traditional technique that dramatically improves vigor and yield. Read more on our grafting page.

(F1). Indeterminate. A cross of Costoluto Genovese  and Brandywine, this wonderful new tomato combines the look of an heirloom variety (ribbed, not-so-uniformly-shaped) with the traits of a modern tomato (early, vigor, high-yield). Averaging just under 12 ounces, the pink flesh is very aromatic and perfect for sandwiches and salads. Or grab some vinegar and mozzarella and you’ve got a simple summer snack, Caprese-style.
Care: Plant 24-36″ apart in rows 3-4′ apart in full sun. Plants grow 4-6′ tall; provide a cage or trellis.
