This vining specialty winter squash caught our attention in our trial field last year due to its frosted orange skin and unique shape. Autumn Frost looks beautiful alongside other squashes in mixes and on its own. We were blown away by the sweet flavor and skin that becomes soft when cooked. It is a great alternative to delicata in taste and texture and stores well under the right conditions. Photo and text courtesy of Osborne Seed.
Care: Long-vining. Plant in rows or hills 8-10’ apart. 8-30 lbs. at maturity. 120-180 days. Full Sun.
