Gorgeous flowers followed by delicious fruit! Pomegranate seeds are high in heart-healthy fiber and vitamins C & K. The seeds and juice are full of anti-oxidants and are reputed to have anti-inflammatory properties as well. Azadi has creamy yellow skin with pink blushes and arils that are a gorgeous translucent peach color! Seeds are very soft with just a touch of astringency to round out the sweetness. The name Azadi means Freedom in Persian. Likes full- to half-day sun and well drained soil. Can reach up to 10-12 ft. in height and bears fruit 1-2 years after planting. Hardy to Zones 7-10.
