Dwarf Okra. The habit is similar to Green Fingers, but with an added bonus of Pink or Red fruits, with creamy lemon colored flowers. This compact plant produces 3-5 Okra at a time and will continue to produce as picked. Fruit is best picked young (3-4” in length). Habit is open and works well on its own or in a combination. Thrives in the heat and is disease resistant even in hot humid climates. Night temperatures should be above 55° F for good growth. Excellent roasted, grilled, tossed in stir fries and, of course, in Creole dishes like jambalaya and gumbo. Photo courtesy of Vegetalis.
