Description

Also called Acnistus australis and Eriolarynx australis, this perennial shrub from Argentina looks like a brugmansia. Deep purple-blue flared trumpets – like small Daturas – line the undersides of every branch for months. Probably best against a South or West wall. Grows to 8ft and likes light shade and sun.
