Thanks to its firmness and unique shape, this lettuce is ideal as an ‘edible spoon’ variety. This means the leaves are an ideal size for tapas style finger food and characteristically crisp and crunchy with an iceberg bite. Tendita is slow bolting, strong against tip burn and suitable for harvesting all year round. Photos courtesy of Rijk Zwaan.
Care: Plant 12-16″ apart in rows 16-18″ apart in a mostly sunny area.
