Helianthus annuus ‘Titan’

Description

These massive, record-setting flower heads have reached a fantastic 24 inches across in some areas! One of the largest sunflowers you can grow, it also produces lots of really big seeds, great for roasting. Fun for kids and adults alike! These sunflowers need at least 8-12 hours of direct sunlight daily and regular, deep watering. Given their size, Titan sunflowers are heavy feeders so you can use balanced fertilizer once a month, with added phosphorus to support root and flower development. Due to their height (12-14 feet) and large blooms, staking or planting near a windbreak can help prevent them from toppling over. Photo courtesy of Harris Seed.
