80-85 days. Red Power is a uniform red pointed cabbage that produces sleek, deep-red spires that average around 1½–2 lbs. Heads hold color even after outer leaves are removed and show minimal color bleed, making it a strong fit for salads. Plants are vigorous, healthy, and adaptable enough for spring through late-summer. Expect mild, pointed-cabbage eating quality.
Plant 20-30″ apart in rows 24-36″ apart in full sun, cool moist soil.
Late-season vegetables adapted to tolerate both the heat of late summer and the cool nights of fall. Harvest in late summer or fall. See our Fall & Winter Vegetable Guide for specific planting/harvest times & freeze-out temperatures.
