An improved King Arthur type, Red Knight is an early-maturing and blocky bell pepper. Grown to be eaten red, it turns color early and has remarkable quality for its earliness. Because of its large size, Red Knight makes an excellent stuffing and grilling pepper. Red Knight will save your early Summer salads, snacks and side dishes all season long! Stronger disease resistance than King Arthur and a more compact, open plant. Flavor is fruity and sweet. 57 days to green, 77 days to red ripe. Photo courtesy of Johnny’s Seeds.
Care: Plant 18-24″ apart in rows 24-30″ apart in full sun. Keep soil uniformly moist (but not waterlogged) for best production.
