A very hardy primrose with unusual, oak leaf-shaped foliage and cheery continuous blooms of royal blue flowers with yellow centers. Prefers the cool weather season. Evergreen. Oakleaf primula was first discovered in the late 1990s by Dr. Richard Brampton in Nottingham, UK. At the time of its discovery nothing resembling this form had been documented. Easy to grow in any well-drained soil with the occasional feeding. Excellent for borders, cut flowers and containers. Partial to full sun; can also tolerate full shade. Grows to 16” tall with a 14” spread.
