A vigorous, evergreen perennial with tri-colored leaves in hues of chartreuse-yellow, with hints of red and green. Beginning in spring and continuing into summer, attractive cobalt-blue flowers appear. Carpet Bugle is so named because it forms a beautiful carpet of bugleweed, which makes a wonderful ground cover. It spreads quite well and is best suited for the woodland garden. Prefers partial to full shade and moist, well-drained soil. Grows 4 – 6 inches tall with an 18 inch spread. Rabbit and deer resistant.
