Lettuce ‘Fusion’ summer crisp

Description

Romaine x Green-leaf cross. Wavy leaves, like a green leaf, with the upright habit and flavor of a romaine. Dark green, heavy heads with a high leaf count. Unlike the other Summer Crisps, these heads remain fully open through maturity. High resistance to corky root; and intermediate resistance to lettuce mosaic virus. 55 days. Photo courtesy of Johnny’s Seeds.

Care: Plant 12-16″ apart in rows 16-18″ apart in a mostly sunny area.

Fall Harvest variety

Late-season vegetables adapted to tolerate both the heat of late summer and the cool nights of fall. Harvest in late summer or fall. See our Fall & Winter Vegetable Guide for specific planting/harvest times & freeze-out temperatures.
