Water Horehound (Lycopus lucidus)

Description

This traditional Chinese Medicine plant has been reported to promote blood circulation and energy. Said to have a “warming” property. The tubers (roots) are juicy and crisp, similar to water chestnuts. Commonly they are deep fried. Grows to 3 feet tall and flowers from July to Septembe.
