Beautiful blooms open bright yellow with red edges and blushes. Then, as they mature, the red creeps farther and farther across the bloom, creating all sorts of uniquely beautiful patterns from June to October. The edible, peppery-flavored flowers also make an elegant garnish when placed on an hors d’oeuvres tray or cheese platter. Grows 9-10 inches tall. Full sun or part shade in hotter climates. Water sparingly.
