One of the hardiest strawberries around, Ogallala produces berries that are red all the way through, and full of flavor. A great strawberry for freezing. Many strawberry plants become much more productive in their 2nd year; pinch back blooms in the first year to encourage a more bountiful harvest for the following year(s).
Care: Plant 12-16″ apart with the crown at soil level. Needs rich well-drained soil, full sun, and 1-2″ of water per week.
