Raspberry ‘Glencoe’ (Rubus idaeus)

Description

This incredible raspberry has spine-free canes which are easy to manage; Glencoe can even be grown in a container! The growth habit is bushy and less vigorous than most red raspberries. A mid-season, summer-fruiting (floricane) raspberry hybrid. The fruit has a lovely intense flavor that is enjoyed fresh or used for wines, sauces, and preserves. Cold-hardy. Self-pollinating. Raspberries are biennials that perform best in full sun with plenty of water and a good fertilizing when blooms begin. For best results, cut down all fruited canes to ground level at the end of the season. Photo courtesy of AgriStarts.
