Nicely warted fruits have rock hard handles and a shell that’s easily carveable. Great for decorating the front porch! Also can be eaten like other pumpkins (soups, pies, etc). Average weight is 20-30 pounds. 90 days. Photo courtesy of Outstanding Seed.
Care: Plant 5-6′ apart in rows 6-8′ apart in full sun. Space more widely and remove all but one fruit from each vine for the largest pumpkins. Leave on the vine as long as possible, until rinds have hardened. Bring in after the first light frost, before rains.
