Lampranthus ‘Orange’

Description

Hardy Ice Plant. An extremely hardy, evergreen, succulent, spreading shrublet. The genus name Lampranthus means shining-flowers in Greek, and the species of this genus have unusually large, bright flowers, in a range of colors (sometimes even bi-colored) that usually appear in summer, and frequently cover the plants entirely. It has an attractive, neat shape and masses of small grey-green, succulent, finger-like leaves. Bees and other important pollinating insects are attracted to these bright, pollen-rich flowers. Will grow in sun or shade but blooms best in full sun.
