Serrated leaves have a distinctive red color. The iron content is typically ten times higher than for other kale varieties. This bright red variety is an experiment for us. It’s usually harvested as a microgreen but we’ll see if it’s garden worthy. Hardy crop can provide nutritious leaves even in the depths of winter. Mature plants survive to 10°F or colder.
