Indeterminate. The Santorini tomato, τοματάκι Σαντορίνης, is a variety of cherry tomato from Santorini, Greece. This tomato variety is a unique and hard to find product of that island’s climate, where it is historically grown without watering. Regular leaf plants produce 1-2 oz. flat, ribbed, bright red fruits, similar in size to a beefsteak tomato, with a slightly-acidic flavor. Can be eaten fresh, this is also an excellent paste tomato.
Care: Plant 24-36″ apart in rows 3-4′ apart in full sun. Plants grow 4-6′ tall; provide a cage or trellis.
