Red Bull has small yields of dark red sprouts and a milder, delicate, nuttier flavor than standard green types. The red color is enhanced with the first light frosts and develops great intensity after a hard frost. It is retained when the sprouts are cooked, steamed or microwaved. Red Bull matures over a long period and the sprouts remain in good condition for many weeks. Harvest November through to January from a spring sowing.
Care: Plant 20-30″ apart in rows 24-36″ apart in full sun, cool moist soil.
