Description

This New Guinea species has a shrub-like growth habit and large, wing-shaped leaves up to 10 inches long. Deep pink leaves are offset by veins of ebony-green (in some cases, ebony-green leaves are offset by veins of deep pink). Mature plants can reach 2 feet tall and wide. Pink flowers form on a terminal inflorescence. Exotica likes a humid environment to really thrive. Hardy to Zones 9-11. Prefers low to bright indirect light (if possible, place in a north-facing window).
