New for 2015. A wonderful heirloom from Denmark, this one is famous for slicing with its long, cylindrical roots. Produces much more uniform slices than round beets. This tender and sweet variety is also known as “Butter Slicer” because of its wonderful texture. 55 days.
Care: Space transplants 3” apart in rows 12-18” apart. Full sun and well-drained soil.
