Tiarella ‘Timbuktu’ (foam flower)

Description

This garden gem forms a 6-inch-high mat of dainty, ferny foliage, and is perfect for a trough or a lightly shaded nook in a rock garden. Timbuktu gives a lot of flowers in April to June and again in September-October. The pink flower buds become white flowers that are very attractive to pollinators. Due to the long flowering period, this perennial is very attractive in both summer and autumn. Plant in (semi-)shade in moist, well-drained soil. Hardy to Zone 7.
