Heucherella ‘Pink Fizz’ foamy bells

Description

Add color and charm to borders and containers with this exciting cross between heuchera and tiarella. Throughout the growing season, light, silver-green foliage with deep purple veining is very attractive. The real color show happens in early to midsummer when hot pink buds open to pure pink, trumpet-like bells on 10″ scapes above the foliage. Foliage grows 8″ tall with a 12-18″ spread. This deer resistant and drought tolerant perennial grows best and has the best color if planted in partial shade, protected from the hot afternoon sun. Zones 4-9.  An excellent groundcover for shade. Foamy Bells will tolerate full sun in more Northern areas as long as adequate moisture is provided. Photo courtesy of Spring Creek.
