Also known as Balm of Gilead. Leaves have strong balsam, lemon and camphor-like odor.

Aromatic foliage repels mosquitoes in the garden and in the house! Put fresh foliage in chicken nesting houses to repel mites.

Traditional medicinal herb. Toss fresh foliage onto campfires or grills, or roll into smudge sticks and burn to keep mosquitoes away. Grows to 4′ tall and likes full sun and well drained soil. Overwinter indoors on a sunny windowsill.
