A superb cut flower, Dianthus Scent First\u00ae ‘Coral Reef’ has a scent that is most often compared to cloves: sweet yet spicy, with hints of nutmeg and allspice. Very different from the often cloying “too sweet” fragrance of some cut-flowers, it makes an ideal nosegay, boutonniere, and small arrangement for desk or tabletop. Deadhead and fed regularly to encourage fast repeat blooming. Grows to 9 inches tall with a 9 inch spread. Drought tolerant. Attracts bees and butterflies. Full sun.
