The large, 1-2 inch berries are firm, with good flavor and small seeds\u2014so it&#8217;s a good choice for making jam. The berries are also delicious for eating fresh or cooked into pies and cobblers. The fully erect, disease resistant canes grow 5-8 ft. tall and are thornless, so picking is easy. There is also no need for a trellis or support. Mature plants produces 8-10 quarts of berries. Zones 5-9.
