According to Carol who bred it, &#8220;it is the most intensely beefy flavored bean I have ever eaten. Has become my main eating bean. Also the most productive dry bean I have ever grown by a factor of 2X or more.\u201d These extremely productive bush plants benefit from something for their short runners to twine about. Pods varying in physical traits mature over a multi-week period to yield a harvest of small, meaty, thin-skinned beans in a satisfying array of earthtone shades. Soak for 24 hours before cooking.
