This hard-to-find garlic comes from San Juan island in Washington state and has medium to large bulbs with 15-24 rich, strongly flavored cloves each. Excellent for roasting or eating raw. Vigorous, easy to grow, stores well. Late-season harvest. Storage: 6-8 months.<br \/>\nCare: Plant 6-8&#8243; apart, 1-2&#8243; deep. Harvest when all but 3-4 leaves turn dry and brown (usually July).
