Fruit is produced for about 2 months from July to September, harvesting the berries when they are deep purple in color. Loganberries may be eaten right off the bush, used as an ingredient in jams, pies, crumbles, country wines and fruit syrups. As large as the largest blackberry and when fully ripe is a dark bright red.
