Chill and serve with chips or with fish or chicken. Makes about 5 cups.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/loghouseplants.com\/plants\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/divider.gif\" alt=\"Log House Plants\" width=\"550\" height=\"5\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold\">Tomatillo Salsa<\/p>\n<p>Ingredients: <br \/>\n1 pound tomatillos, peeled and washed <br \/>\n1\/2 red onion, diced <br \/>\nJuice of 2 limes <br \/>\nZest of 1 lime <br \/>\n1\/2 teaspoon salt <br \/>\n1 teaspoon sugar <br \/>\n2 cloves garlic <br \/>\n1-2 serrano chiles, stemmed, seeded and deveined<br \/>\n2 tablespoons cilantro, chopped<\/p>\n<p>In a blender or food processor, blend all ingredients until pulverized. Makes about 3 cups. Garnish with additional cilantro.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/loghouseplants.com\/plants\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/divider.gif\" alt=\"Log House Plants\" width=\"550\" height=\"5\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold\">Cherry Tomato Salsa<\/p>\n<p>2 pints cherry tomatoes, chopped<br \/>\n1 large shallot, minced <br \/>\n1 large garlic clove, minced <br \/>\n2 tablespoons minced fresh coriander <br \/>\n1 tablespoon white wine vinegar <br \/>\n2 serrano chiles, seeded and minced <br \/>\n2 teaspoons fresh lime juice <br \/>\n1\/4 teaspoon salt<\/p>\n<p>In a medium bowl, combine the chopped tomatoes and their juices with the shallot, garlic, coriander, vinegar, chiles, lime juice and salt. Stir well. Cover  and set aside to allow flavors to blend.<\/p>\n<p>The sweet, tangy flavor of homegrown cherry tomatoes gives this salsa a wonderful intensity. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/loghouseplants.com\/plants\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/divider.gif\" alt=\"Log House Plants\" width=\"550\" height=\"5\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold\">Bedouin Salsa<\/p>\n<p>From Kebaba Restaurant in Bend, Oregon<\/p>\n<p> 8 to 10 garlic cloves, peeled      <br \/>\n3 fresh jalape&ntilde;os, stemmed<br \/>\n6 fresh serrano chiles, stemmed and chopped     <br \/>\n3\/4 cup coarsely chopped sweet onion     <br \/>\n2  teaspoons kosher salt     <br \/>\n1\/4 cup grapeseed or vegetable oil     <br \/>\n1\/3 cup fresh lemon juice     <br \/>\n1 to 1-1\/2 cups flat-leaf parsley sprigs <\/p>\n<p> Heat a comal or dry 12-inch heavy skillet (preferably cast-iron; not nonstick) over medium-low heat until hot. <\/p>\n<p> Cook garlic and jalape&ntilde;os, turning with tongs occasionally, until  blackened in spots, about 15 minutes. Cool slightly, about 15 minutes. <\/p>\n<p> Combine all ingredients except parsley   in a food processor and finely chop.
