Viola cornuta ‘Tiger Eye Red’

Description

Excellent for edging, rock gardens, and in containers. Suitable for either fall or spring planting. Nice when combined with spring flowering bulbs. This variety has fragrant orange-red flowers with unique black tiger striping and two dark spots in the center that look like eyes. In warm regions, trim plants back by half in early June to rejuvenate the foliage and improve summer survival. In mild regions these might continue flowering all winter long.
