An upright, bushy, semi-evergreen to evergreen perennial bearing oblong to lance-shaped, mid-green leaves and, from summer into autumn, upright panicles of tubular, bubblegum-pink flowers with white throats. Beautiful flowers are exceptionally long blooming and irresistible to hummingbirds. Pinching back taller varieties when about 12″ tall will produce more compact plants. Can be divided every 3-4 years in spring by digging mature rhizomes and replanting. Will self sow. Foliage can be trimmed after blooming to freshen. Clean up in fall or spring. May benefit from loose winter mulch in colder zones. Medium watering needs. Part shade to full sun. Grows 16-22 inches. Photo courtesy of Syngenta.
