Italian looseleaf variety forms 6-8 inch rosettes of frilled burgundy leaves, light green at the base. Mildly flavored greens add good loft, texture, and color to mixed salads – or make a nice garnish. 30 days from transplant for baby greens, 58 days to full heads. OP
