Echinacea x hybrida ‘Sombrero Salsa Red’ (coneflower)

Description

A vibrant coneflower with softly fragrant, fiery orange-red flowers, 3 in. across, adorned with a skirt of wide, overlapping, drooping petals surrounding a chocolate-brown central cone. Well branched, its numerous flowering stems are sturdy and held upright. An early bloomer with a compact habit, provides a vibrant floral display in the garden from late spring to late summer, sometimes with additional sporadic bloom until frost. Perfect for small gardens and containers. Photo courtesy of Ball Seed.
