Tomato ‘Maglia Rosa’ Artisan Series Julienne Cherry

Description

Indeterminate. This small-fruited tomato produces truly unique, mottled pink, long, egg-shaped fruits with bright, lightly sweet acidic flavor. It got its name from the mottled pink jersey worn by the lead racer in the Tour of Italy. It is a highly productive, semi-determinate variety that does very well in pots and small spaces.  Maglia Rosa fruits prolifically, and early (approximately 55 days after transplant).  Be sure to pick tomatoes while they are light pink, which is the stage when peak flavor occurs.  Maglia Rosa is also a very good variety for small, integrated farms.  If you are looking for a unique cherry tomato that produces early and heavily, and does not need staking, Maglia Rosa is a very good fit.  You can read more about Maglia Rosa here.Bred by Artisan Seeds. Semi-determinate. Full Sun.
Care: Plant 24-36″ apart in rows 3-4′ apart in full sun. Plants grow 4-6′ tall; provide a cage or trellis.
