Description

Native to East Africa. Tender perennial.

Spikes of white to pink flowers appear in midsummer. Attracts bees.

Aromatic foliage repels mosquitoes in the garden and in the house!

Traditional medicinal herb. Roll foliage into smudge sticks and burn to keep mosquitoes away from seating areas. Dried foliage is mixed with bath salts for healing soaks or used in sachets to repel moths and beetles. Read more about them here!

Grows 12-16″ tall and likes full sun and well drained soil. Overwinter indoors on a sunny windowsill.
