Loose heads of thick, tender, tongue shaped green leaves with sweet flavor. Heirloom variety dating to the 1740s is heat resistant and slow to bolt. Excellent as a baby green or harvested as full heads. 50 days from transplant. OP

Care: Plant 12-16″ apart in rows 16-18″ apart in a mostly sunny area.
