Rare southern heirloom has a thin pink rind and smooth orange flesh like a banana squash but grows much larger – up to 60 pounds! Very productive and a good keeper. Ideal for baking and pies. 110 days from transplant. OP
Care: Plant 4-5′ apart in rows 6-8′ apart in full sun. Leave on the vine as long as possible, until rinds have hardened. Bring in after the first light frost, before rains.
